11th July 2008 Windsurfing: Ynsylas Wind Direction: NNW Wind Stength: 16-20 knots Surf / Sea State: 1-2 foot surf Air Temperature: 15ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Sunnys spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: The wind filled in so I went across to the beach at around 2.30pm and had a couple of hours sailing nicely powered with my 5.6m and big (104 litre) board. Some nice little waves to play on and jump off on the inside but it was mainly about blasting along over the choppy water. The wind did start gradually easing off and by about 4.30pm it started becoming a bit of a struggle so I packed up after a nice sesion on the water. Dunk was just about to get on the water but he wind continued to drop so I'm not sure how good it was for him. I'm sure there was still enough for a kitesurfer though. |
